Non è la solita storia alla Steve Jobs ma Nerio Alessandri, appassionato di sport e di meccanica, comincia proprio da lì la scalata al successo.
Siamo nel 1983 e un ventiduenne del cesenate si sta già chiedendo come gli attrezzi da palestra possano assumere un aspetto esteticamente più gradevole. Di li a poco inizierà ad assemblare nuovi macchinari, che seppur artigianali riscuoteranno da subito un gran successo, sia per il design accattivante, sia per le loro performance. Spinto dal successo della prima macchina, che in palestra sarà sempre la più utilizzata, incomincia a produrre molti altri modelli con l'aiuto fisico ed economico di amici e parenti. Nel 1990 la Technogym ha quasi 500 dipendenti ed è sul mercato internazionale. Pochi anni dopo diventerà leader mondiale del settore.
A chi gli chiede come un giovane possa avere successo lui risponde: "pensate in grande e non fermatevi al primo no. Se costruite qualcosa che funziona vuol dire che ormai è obsoleto e dovete pensare a una novità. Quando scegliete i collaboratori sceglieteli anche più bravi di voi, perché da loro potrete solo imparare."

This isn't the same Steve Jobs's story, but Nerio Alessandri, who is passionate for sports and mechanics, started here his climb to the top.
We are in 1983, a young man from Cesena was searching for a new way to improve the design of the gym machines. He began to assemble new machines, and although they are handmade they had obteined a great success for their design and performances. He started then to create new models with the help of his family and friends. In the '90s his company reached the top of international market and gave work to 500 people.
If you ask him how young people can reach the success he will answer you: "Think bigger and don't stop to the first no. If you're building something that works it means that you already have to think something new. When you have to chose your team, try to select the best one because working with the most excellent people will always teach you something new."
